We are pleased to welcome you to the 20th International Conference on Condensed Matter Nuclear Science “ICCF20”.
ICCF20 will be held in Sendai, Japan, from October 2nd to October 7th, 2016, and will be hosted by the Condensed Matter Nuclear Reaction (CMNR) Division, the Research Center for Electron Photon Science (ELPH) of Tohoku University.
ICCF is the pre-eminent conference in Condensed Matter Nuclear Science (CMNS). It continues the tradition of a conference series which started in 1990 in Salt Lake City, USA, with its most recent conference held in Padua, Italy in April 2015.
There has been great progress in CMNS research during the past few years. New developments related to the heat generation have attracted considerable attention, especially for the Ni/Pd hydrogen-based system in higher temperature region. In addition, a movement which aims to direct practical use of thermal output has been initiated along with a further emphasis on fundamental research in an effort to better understand the basic mechanism. Additionally, in order to solve the energy problems and nuclear waste disposal issues in Japan, CMNS research proposals were accepted recently by the government grant agencies of Japan as the feasibility studies.
ICCF20 to be held under such circumstances is dedicated to creating and facilitating an environment for exchanging the latest research results, the sharing of advanced research methods, the understanding and further deepening of theories, the constructing the technological basis and exploring practical applications.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sendai in October 2016.
